Giving back to the Community

Throughout the year, we try to give back to the community where we can. This might be in the form of monetary sponsorship for events, in kind donations of time right down to something very, very small like organising to jump starting someone’s car in front of the office who’s battery has gone flat.

This Sunday just passed, the Zonta Club of Maryborugh held their annual Zonta Says No Charity Golf Day aimed at raising money and awareness surrounding domestic violence initiatives within our community. As a lawyer working in the family law space, I have first hand seen the effects Domestic Violence can have on people whilst helping them find freedom and peace amidst family law conflict. It was important to us to support this event and this result in us becoming a sponsor for the second year in a row.

This annual Maryborough event raises much needed funds and awareness, at a beautiful Maryborough venue, in a magnificent part of the world right here on the Fraser Coast.
