Nobody Knows

Nobody knows how good you are, but they do know how quick you are. A great solicitor I previously worked with who retired with 50 years admission under his belt would say this to me a couple of times throughout the year when I was a much younger lawyer. Since then, I have heard various stories about solicitors and lawyers being slow to respond to communication.

In my practice, I deal with complex, difficult and time-consuming legal matters which can often tie up large periods of time throughout the day. There is often little “free” time in each day and it is only Dana and myself attending to these tasks. Complex parenting disputes, property settlements, child support, domestic violence, criminal and traffic cases as well as other litigation and family law matters are routine.

Despite this, Dana and I are extremely aware of the importance of responding to people’s phone calls and emails. We both try to do this as quickly as we can and at the first opportunity that presents. This sometimes means calling people back who need a lawyer outside of usual business hours so that we can help them in a timely way. It might also mean it takes us a few hours or even a couple of days sometimes depending on the nature of the communication and problem, but we do pride ourselves in always getting back to everyone as soon as we can.

If you are someone who needs a lawyer or has to attend the courthouse in Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Gympie, Bundaberg, Gayndah, Childers the Sunshine Coast or beyond, please do not hesitate to contact our office to see if we have a solicitor who can help you with your legal problem.
